CBP WPC : Introduction
CBP WPC is a composite material made from recycled bamboo powder and recycled HDPE plastic.
CBP WPC combine the best features of wood and plastic – plastic shields the wood from moisture and insect damage, so there is no rotting, cracking or splintering. The wood protects the plastic from UV damage.
CBP WPC can be used in a wide range of applications including Decking, Railing, Outdoor Furniture, Landscaping, Packaging, Building, and Construction.
CBP WPC comes with 10 to 20 years warranty on the material againts splintering, splinting and termite damage. The total life of this kind of material is expected to be much longer than that.

CBP WPC : Intallation, Usage and Maintenance
Reaction in very cold weather : CBP WPC performs well in very cold weather. The material will be harder in cold weather since the material is 50% plastic. Pre–drilled before nailing is recommended for easier installation.
Reaction in very hot weather : When the temperature is increasing, CBP WPC will get more flexible and it will be expand / contract slightly. The joist span and board gapping instructions and installation had to be followed to avoid any complication during installation.
Used in full ground and contact : The material is ideal for ground contact application like landscape timber and edging, no treatment is required.
Product maintenance : CBP WPC is maintenance free. No paint or stain is required. This is why using this product will save your money in long term. Comparing the cost in between using wood and CBP WPC, the cost of using wood material will overtake CBP WPC due to the maintenance cost to make the wood long last..
Cleaning : CBP WPC can absorb little water, dirt and debris will not easily attached to it. Soap, hot water and stiff bristle are all you need to remove dirt and debris. For mold, use conventional deck washes and cleaners that contain sodium hypochlorite(bleach) and detergent.
CBP WPC : Product Durability and Reaction
Reaction to the Sun : It is normal for the colour of CBP WPC will fade slightly after ten to twelve weeks exposed to the sunlight and water. It is due to the natural weathering process of wood and cellulose content but the quality of a product will not be affected to it.
Reaction in the Water : CBP WPC will absorb little water. After a test in which it was submerged in boiling water for 24 hours, no appreciable effect in the strength was measured.
Reaction to Fire : CBP WPC has much higher ignition than wood. It’s self Ignition Temperature is 4500 C / 8400 F, thus is less likely to catch fire.
Reaction to rot, splinter and decay : Because CBP WPC absorb very little water, water cannot have any deteriorating impact on the products.
Reaction to insect damage : CBP WPC is highly resistant to damage from insects, including carpenter ants and termites.
